PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
To prepare applications-oriented technicians for entry-level employment in the emerging career field of Biotechnology. Biotechnology is defined as the use of living organisms or other biological systems in the manufacture of drugs or other products or for environmental management, Employment possibilities include, but are not limited to, technical positions in biological, medical, environmenttal, and genetic research, as well as manufacturing and quality control.
