Tutoring Program

Southeast Arkansas College has developed a Peer Tutoring Program for Seark students.  Tutoring service will be provided to students in need of additional instruction and practice in their course assignments.  Students are required to submit an application for tutoring assistance to the Learning Assistance Lab Director.

Job Description: Peer tutors will be responsible for providing tutoring service to students in need of additional instruction and practice in their SEARK college courses or assignments.

Minimum Qualifications: Above average or average GPA in the area of tutoring and recommendation of the Division Dean.

Special Requirements: Outgoing personality, punctual, and ability to work with minimum to no supervision.

Salary: $5.15 per hour

Interested students should complete a State of Arkansas employment application in TCN - 204, and submit a college transcript from all institutions attended and three (3) letters of reference from SEARK instructors.
