The Career Pathways Initiative is a program designed to assist students with transportation, childcare, and/or tuition and fees. Students must have custody of a child under the age of 21, be a former/current recipient of TEA cash assistance: or a current recipient of Food Stamps, ARKids or Medicaid: or earnings are at the 250% Federal Poverty Level or less. |
Basic Eligibility Requirements:
- Have custody of a child under the age of 21 AND
- Currently or formerly on TEA OR
- Currently on Food Stamps, Medicaid, ARKids OR
- Household income below 250% the Federal Poverty Level (about $42,000 annually for a family of three)
- Cannot have a 4-year or 2-year degree
