In accordance with Act 1713 of 2003, Southeast Arkansas College offers the following information regarding its web sites.

1. Southeast Arkansas College collects little information from visitors to our web site (www.seark.edu). The web server does, as all servers do, create log files recording basic traffic information. These log files are not used for identifying visitors.

2. Information collected by the College is subject to the Arkansas Freedom of Information Act of 1967, the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, Arkansas Code, Title 13, Chapter 2, Sub-Chapter 7, Gramm-Leach-Biley Financial Modernization Act, and other applicable laws and regulations. Electronic Communications

In accordance with Act 1799 of 2003, Southeast Arkansas College offers the following information regarding electronic communication.

1. All forms of electronic communication (e-mail) are governed by the Arkansas Freedom of Information Act.

2. SEARK College uses network technology techniques to protect the confidentiality of electronic communications, such as the use of a firewall, network settings, mail server settings, and network user names and passwords. The College will continue to employ various techniques to secure the integrity of its computer network and email system. In addition, all campus email is subject to the College’s email purging practice where all email of a specified age is purged from the system.

3. Any requests for electronic communication information should be made to the Office of the President.
