Course Description:  This course is designed to provide a general introduction of the field of grant writing to the student.  Instruction is provided on types of grants, common requirements of grant applications, and elements of a grant application.   Further assistance is offered by provided numerous references to foundations, foundations in Arkansas, and numerous Internet links to grant sources having web sites and related Internet information.  This course is offered as a continuing education course of study consisting of approximately 6 clock hours of study (0.6 CEUs).  A certificate of completion is awarded upon the successful completion of the course.
