Southeast Arkansas College’s 2017 Spring Commencement will be held at the Pine Bluff Convention Center arena at 7 p.m. Friday, May 12. Dr. Maria Markham, Director of the Arkansas Department of Higher Education, will give the commencement address.

SEARK College held its last Lunch & Learn for the 2016-2017 school year.

Over 200 students, faculty, and staff attended the SEARK College Stress Free Zone. The event provided activities that allowed everyone on campus to decompress before entering into final exams next week.

SEARK College will hold its spring Graduation Expo on Monday, May 8 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in College Hall.

Watson Chapel, Star City students attend SEARK’s College Preview Day

SEARK College hosted its Spring Career Fair & Dress for Success Day, which was attended by over 100 SEARK students. The event was held in McGeorge Hall on the SEARK campus.

SEARK College will host Watson Chapel High School and Star City High School students for its College Preview Days Thursday, April 20 and Friday, April 21.

SEARK College will host its Dress for Success Career Fair on Wednesday, April 19 in the McGeorge Hall from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. The event is an opportunity for students to explore professional options, conduct research, network with employers, and make personal contacts.

Four SEARK College students recently attended the Emerging Researchers National (ERN) Conference in STEM in Washington, D.C. Christal Gallon, Kendra Greenlaw, Lawrence Morris, and Moreo Wilson, all in SEARK’s Technology Studies program, were present at the three day conference.
