Presidential Finalists

The Southeast Arkansas College (SEARK) Board of Trustees is pleased to announce we have selected four finalists for the presidency of SEARK.

The Southeast Arkansas College presidential finalists are (in alphabetical order):


Steven Bloomberg, M.Ed.

Steven Bloomberg, M.Ed., is the Executive Vice President at Oklahoma City Community College, OK.  Previously, he was the Vice President for Community Development at Oklahoma City Community College, OK.  He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from the University of LaVerne, CA, a Master's in Education from West Texas A&M University, TX, and is currently finishing his Doctorate in Higher Education Leadership from the American College of Education, IN.


 

 


Dr. Paul Hutchins, Ed.D.

Dr. Paul Hutchins, Ed.D., is the President of Sampson Community College, NC.  Previously, he was the Dean of Educational Centers and Economic Development at Santa Fe College, FL.  He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education from the University of Florida, a Master of Arts degree in Adult Education from the University of South Florida, and a Doctorate of Higher Education Administration from the University of Florida.


 

 

 


Dr. Marlon Mitchell, Ph.D.

Dr. Marlon Mitchell, Ph.D., is the Campus President for Ivy Tech Community College, Gary Campus, IN.  Previously, he was the Regional Dean for Indiana Wesleyan University, IN.  He received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from Indiana University, IN, a Master of Science in Instructional Systems Technology from Indiana University, IN, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Instructional Systems Technology from Indiana University, IN.


 

 

 


Dr. Kaleybra Morehead, Ed.D.

Dr. Kaleybra Morehead, Ed.D., is the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Institutional Effectiveness Coordinator at Southeast Arkansas College.  Previously, she was the Vice President for Academic Affairs/College Affairs at Southeast Arkansas College.  She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, a Masters of Public Administration from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, and a Doctorate in Higher Education from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
