SEARK College offers $125,000 in new scholarships for Spring 2022 term

Students are struggling more than ever to balance busy lives and earn a college degree. The current and ongoing pandemic has only increased the amount of stress. To help alleviate some of this stress, Southeast Arkansas (SEARK) College announced today it will award more than $125,000 in new scholarships for new and continuing students who will be enrolling in the spring 2022 term. There are 100 new, $500 scholarships for many of the workforce development and leadership courses/programs offered by SEARK.

In addition to these new scholarships, The College’s Foundation has pledged more than $52,000 in scholarships specifically targeting the following students who will be enrolling in the spring 2022 semester: fall 2021 returning students; spring or summer 2021 students; new, first-time students, and high school students. “We have an unprecedented opportunity to help students with these new awards” said SEARK President Dr. Steven Bloomberg.  The first class session will begin on January 10th; however, the college also has a January 31st, 13-week term, as well as a late-start term beginning March 7, 2022.
