Past (Returning) Students

Students who have not attended Southeast Arkansas College for two or more semesters (exclusive of Summer Semester) must file an  Application for Readmission with the Admissions Office prior to the beginning of the semester for which readmission is sought.

Steps to Completing the Readmission and Registration Process

Step 1: Admission

Bring the completed readmission application, immunization record, test scores, and college transcripts (if any) to the Admissions Office located in the Student Services Building, Room 149.

Transfer students who have attended another college or university are required to furnish official transcripts when applying for readmission. OFFICIAL COLLEGE/UNIVERSITY TRANSCRIPTS are to be mailed to Southeast Arkansas College directly from the sending college, or provided in a sealed envelope. Electronic transcripts are also accepted.  Unofficial transcripts are not accepted.

Step 2: Financial Aid

Financial Aid - Go to the Financial Aid Office located in the Student Services Building, Room 152. Students who are receiving any type of financial assistance (or who have applied for financial aid) need to go by the Financial Aid Office for verification. Self pay students may go directly to Step 3.

Step 3: Advisement

Advisement- Go to your Academic Advisor or the Education or Career Counselor  - WIA, TAA, REHAB, and VA-funding, TRIO Counselor, Health Sciences Advisor, WebAdvisor Activated / Student Educational Planning to determine class schedule.

Advisor HOLDAn Advisor HOLD will be placed on your student’s record until you meet with your Advisor.  After meeting with your Advisor, your HOLD will be removed.

Step 4: Business Office

Business Office -Go to the Cashier’s Office located in the Business Services Building. Pay the fees or make financial arrangements.

Step 5: Parking Permit

Parking Permits – are available at the Cashier's Office in Business Services. There is no charge for the first parking permit, but there is a $5.00 charge for replacement permits or additional permits. To get a permit please have your registration schedule, along with your license plate number, and driver’s license. Tickets will be issued if a parking permit is not displayed.

Step 6: Student ID Cards

Student ID Cards - are available at the Registrar's Office, room 145 in the Student Services Building. Please have your registration class schedule stamped in red “REGISTRATION COMPLETE” in order to get your ID. You can also revalidate your ID card or purchase a replacement card. There is a charge of $5.00 for a replacement card. You must have a Student ID.

Step 7: Books and Supplies

Visit the Barnes and Noble Bookstore located in College Hall Commons to purchase your books and supplies. You must have your registration class schedule and a personal ID (student ID, driver’s license, etc...) in order to make your purchase.
